Hello again!
Sad to say, but it has been practically a year since I've blogged. Seems weird...seems like it was only yesturday I was being extremely nervous for going into grade nine...
But no, my whole school year has passed with flying colours. I'm starting grade ten Sept.1st!
A quick update about what happened this past school year,
I had a boyfriend, I had a heartbreak, I lost friends but made stronger friendships :), I'm taller and my chemically straightened hair is growing out, I'm now going on an exchange to Switzerland for 3 months, my exchange partner is coming to Canada first for three months starting August, it's freezing cold, and I'm stuck doing an online gr10 math course everyday :(
Long story.
The thing I'm most excited for, is for Florence my exchange partner to fly down. I've only talked to her once on facebook, and she wrote very good english. I replied back in french! :-)
But I used a translation website...hehe...
Yours truely,
Jan.

School.
Hii.
All of today I've been getting our cottage ready for this BBQ we're having later. My mom has invited all the builders of this cottage to come and look around. Melissa and I have to cook like 40 bugers later! But my mom is paying us if we work hard, so I don't mind much :)
I didn't get to sleep till 3am. I was a bundle a nerves about starting highschool for some reason. Usually I get nervous the night before, not a week before. But it's true, highschool is in two Tuesdays! The whole time when I was trying to get to sleep, all I could think about was me making a fool of my self the same day. Like getting lost. So I spent like 2 hours typing out a schedual for the day before and day of the first day of grade nine. It's insane. Everything is all detailed and timed out.

My Main Interest: Vampires and Books
Heyy,
Why do I like vampires? Simple answer: The Twilight Saga. I'm sure many of you have either heard of this book series, or even better, have read it. But this series is an addicting one, the kind where you could just cry or rip your hair out when you find you have to wait another month for the next book to come out. Now, I've read all of the books. It was kind of depressing when I saw the final words of BreakingDawn: "The End". But I have all the next four movies to look forward too. The first one is coming out November 27th. I can hardly wait. Part of me doesn't want to see it because I'm scared I'll be dissapointed. But I will anyways. So after reading the first book of Twilight, I started to pick up more Vampire and Werewolf related teen novels. Some of them are Blueblood by Melissa De La Cruz, and Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Currently I'm reading Generation Dead by Daniel Waters. It doesn't have vampires, but just zombies I should say. Where if a teenager dies, it's possible they could come back if their brains are still intact. I don't know why, but I guess the whole idea of death intrigues me. So I guess my interests are expanding. I'm kind of moving out of my whole romance faze, and moving into fantasy. Well actually I've got to admitt I probably won't buy a fantasy book if there was no mention of some kind of romance. I also like ghost books, like the Mediator series by MegCabot. A very good read. And sometimes I'll just read some normal teen books, usually by MegCabot. And I'm also getting into witch novels. Those are cool too, I've read about 3 different witch related novels now. Okay, I've read so many 1st books of series and they're all having the second books come out sooner or later and I don't think I can keep track of them all. It's insane. And then since I've read so many, and then I buy the second book, I forget the 1st book so I gotta read it all over again. My eyes heart from all this reading...
Much Love, Janice.

First Post
Hii,
I've created a blog because I've been reading this novel called 'Generation Dead' by Daniel Waters. This character in the book, Tommy (whos a hot zombie) has his own blog. And they actually made a fake blog for him. So i went to the website 'www.mysocalledundeath.com' and it took me to his blog, which is part of blogger.com. So I decided to create a blog myself. I have no idea who'd ever read my blog, but I thought it would be fun to put my thoughts here. Right now I don't have any, besides maybe I should keep reading 'Generation Dead' so I could go to Tommy's website and actually read stuff with out worrying about seeing spoilers. But I'm nearly done the book anyways.
Later days :)
